Zakat Contribution to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak

On 19 March 2026, SACOFA contributed a total of RM2.93 million in zakat to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) for the 2025 financial year.

The contribution was presented by SACOFA Chief Executive Officer, Jafer Sadig Abdul Lathiff to YBhg Datuk Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha of Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, and witnessed by the Premier of Sarawak, YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg at Kompleks Satria Pertiwi.

The ceremony was also attended by SACOFA Chairman, YB Dato Sri Haji Julaihi Narawi and SACOFA’s Board of Directors.

This contribution highlights SACOFA’s fulfilment of its Shariah obligations and its commitment to the socio-economic well-being of the ummah and the development of Sarawak.
