SAMARAHAN, 28 October 2026 – SACOFA Sdn Bhd continues to support efforts to protect Sarawak’s essential telecommunications infrastructure through its participation in the Majlis Pelancaran Program Pencegahan Vandalisme terhadap Kemudahan Utiliti dan Telekomunikasi Sarawak 2026, Bahagian Samarahan, held at Dewan Jubli, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak.
Organised by the Ministry of Utility and Telecommunications Sarawak (MUT), in collaboration with SACOFA and other agencies under the Ministry, the programme brought together approximately 500 participants, including students from various educational institutions, Ketua Masyarakat dan Ketua Kaum (KMKK), and representatives from relevant organisations.
The programme was officiated by YB Dato Sri Haji Julaihi Bin Haji Narawi, Minister of Utility and Telecommunications Sarawak, who launched the initiative as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public awareness and promote cooperation among government agencies, industry stakeholders and local communities in combating vandalism.
SACOFA remains committed to protecting telecommunications infrastructure and ensuring reliable connectivity across Sarawak. Through collaboration with MUT and other agencies, SACOFA continues to promote public awareness and community responsibility in preventing vandalism and safeguarding essential infrastructure.
