On 16 March 2026, SACOFA Sdn Bhd welcomed a delegation from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for a courtesy visit to its headquarters to meet with SACOFA Chief Executive Officer, Jafer Sadig Abdul Lathiff.
The MCMC delegation, comprising 10 representatives, was led by Managing Director, Tuan Haji Abdul Karim Fakir Ali, accompanied by Chief State Affairs Officer, Tuan Haji Bukhari and Senior Director of the Sarawak Regional Office, En. Izani Othman. During the visit, the delegation was taken on an office tour including the Network Operations Centre (NOC), providing an overview of SACOFA’s operational capabilities and infrastructure.
The meeting discussed key business and regulatory matters, focusing on collaboration in infrastructure development and advancing digital connectivity in Sarawak. The visit shows the strong partnership between SACOFA and MCMC and their shared commitment to supporting the state’s digital transformation.
