Last month, SACOFA welcomed a courtesy visit from the Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) held to discuss matters related to law prevention and vandalism. The engagement served as a platform to strengthen collaboration and foster mutual understanding in addressing public safety concerns, particularly in relation to preventive measures against criminal activities and vandalism cases.
The delegation was led by SAC Lim San Aik, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, accompanied by ACP Mohd Ishak bin Yaakob, Deputy Head of CID (R/O), DSP Tay Chew Thwa, Staff Officer D4, ASP Sumarno Lamundi, Intelligence and Operations Officer D4 and SJN Haslan bin Sirat, Detective from D4. During the visit, both parties held discussions on current trends in vandalism cases, preventive enforcement strategies and areas of cooperation to enhance community safety and crime deterrence efforts. Views were also exchanged on improving operational coordination and information sharing to support more effective law enforcement initiatives.
The courtesy visit reflects SACOFA’s commitment to strengthening strategic relationships with enforcement agencies in ensuring public safety and maintaining order within the community.
